join us for a WIFFC Brindle Chute fly tying class, Wednesday, October 30, 2019. 6-8 at the Race Road fire station (1164 Race Road, Coupeville). This is an easy fly to tye and all levels of fly tyers are welcome.
The brindle chute dry fly is the perfect dry fly which imitates a March Brown Mayfly, but also works as an attractor. We will be tying on a size 10 barbless hook.
Bob Stephens will be leading and instructing the class. If you wish to view the fly tying video, prior to class, see https://youtu.be/zi9dlahUtGM video by Arrick's fly shop. Bob will show us a slight variation of how he prefers to tie the parachute in.
Bring Rusty Brown 8/0 thread, your vise, tools, lights, glasses and magnification as needed. The club will supply all other materials, instructions, helpful assistance, and tying demonstration. Beginners are always welcome and the club has some equipment available for use.
Please text (360-466-8283) or email Gianna Holle (Gianna@holle.com) to sign up so we can prepare sufficient materials available to all.
Drinks and light snacks will be provided. Hope to see you there!
