Monday March 2nd from 1:30 to 3:00 PM at the Coupeville Library, club member Bob Stephens will present an introduction to fly fishing. We're happy to partner with the Coupeville branch of the Island County Library to offer to the public this look at the sport we love. The presentation is free, and all are welcome. Come out to support Bob, to get some insights, and to share your knowledge with interested attendees.
Bob Stephens did an outstanding job organizing and presenting an introduction to fly fishing for island residents at the Coupeville Library yesterday. Around ten people came to learn about our sport and to ask questions. Some had a bit of fly fishing experience, and some may hardly have fished at all.
Clarence Hein, Paul Messner, Dave Edwards, and I were on hand to offer moral support and help Bob field questions. We were able to talk about our club and encouraged people to attend one of our meetings. All in all, a very good event, appreciated by both the attendees and the Coupeville Library staff.
