I went fishing on the Skagit river for the past three days and the Silvers are running. Yesterday, I went fishing with my BIL and with his spin reel he caught 10 Silvers within the span of 3 hours. The fishing was hot between 6 am till 7:30. Every Coho was over 22 inches long! There is really good beach access, in Mount Vernon, with good parking but no bathrooms. I plan to go out with my fly rod Tuesday or Wednesday. will post date on Lets go Fishing Forum, if anyone wants to join me.

Thanks for the report! Good luck with the fly rod. I have been at Hoypus a few times in the last couple of weeks and haven’t seen any action or evidence of fish yet.
