Went down to Possesion Point State Park today about 11:00am. Low tide was 1.82ft at 10:35am. I had not fished on an incoming tide and wanted to see what it looked like even though I have been told it fishes better on an outgoing tide. First, the wind was blowing from the south at 15-20 knots which made casting interesting. I could not find any obvious rips but since I am a newb I may have missed them but I doubt it. I saw a couple of fish jump and caught one about 6 inches long around 12:30pm. The worst of it was the seaweed. It was everywhere and about every second cast I had to clear my hook or line. Anyway, this probably is not new news to the old timers but I thought I would post for the newbs who are new to the salt. Regardless it was a good day as "God will not subtract from man's allotted time the hours spent in fishing."
