While it might be a little early in the year to see Cedar Waxwings, I hope you're planning on coming to Pass Lake March 9 for our first club outing of the year. I'll be at the boat launch with doughnuts at 9:00 AM for you early risers, but please come anytime that works for you. Even if you can't fish, come by to say, Hi!, to old friends and new. For those of you who will fish, I'll hand out one of my favorite Pass Lake flies as long as my supply of ten lasts. If you need a few tips on fishing Pass Lake, check out the Pass Lake Tip Sheet on our website (Links/Fishing Tip Sheets/Fishing Pass Lake).
This will be a good chance to get an impression of how the lake is fishing about a week prior to hearing from our March meeting speaker, Justin Spinelli, WDFW biologist, about WDFW's management plan for the lake.
I'd love to get a sense of how many of you to expect, so, if you haven't already let me know, please do so by commenting on this post or by emailing me at mewilbert@gmail.com.
Looking forward to seeing you.
Mark
Does anyone have an update on the Lone Lake water quality ?
Count me in - I even bought a new PWC for the event.
