Fall on the Blackfoot River, Montana

Writer's picture: Mark WilbertMark Wilbert

At the end of September of this year, Mark McGinnis and I spent four days fishing rivers around Missoula, MT. One of those days--on Rock Creek--was so unproductive that I won't say any more about it. The other three days, however, on the Blackfoot River, were a lot of fun and produced a pleasurable number of, if not large, fish. I gave up as much fishing time as I could stand to capture those days on video and assemble them into a piece that I presented at our September club meeting. For those of you not attending that Zoom meeying, here's what you missed--besides six or seven smiling faces of your clubmates staring at you from your computer screen.
